Narrow peninsula at the northern end of the Monmouth shore — Atlantic Ocean east, Sandy Hook Bay west, less than 500 feet wide in places.
Why coating matters in Sea Bright
Salt is closer than you think.
Sea Bright is one of the most salt-exposed locations in the state — the borough is essentially a sliver of land with saltwater on both sides. Hurricane Sandy devastated the town in 2012 and most homes are post-2014 construction with modern AC equipment. The newer units have years of life ahead if protected early; the older holdouts that survived Sandy usually need cleaning over coating at this point.
A mix of year-round residents, post-Sandy rebuilds, and waterfront second homes. AC equipment skews newer thanks to the rebuild cycle, which is the best possible scenario for coating — units coated in years one through five typically reach fifteen-plus years of service life with the same protection the U.S. Navy uses on shipboard HVAC.
